Description:
The miniature GPS Logger is an effictive way of monitoring a vehicle's movement activity over a few days. The GPS Logger is magnetic so it can easily and quickly be deployed and can operate for up to 80hrs on just 2x AA batteries or alternatively powered by the car battery using a sepcial cable (optional).
The data is committed to flash memory in the GPS Logger every second and then download via USB port to personal computer using the Past-Track software package, included free. There are three data viewing options: a daily text log; route display over animated digital street map; or route display on satellite imagery with Google Earth interface.
Unit comes equipped with a motion detector; it will go into a sleep mode after two minutes of non-movement.
The GPS Logger is compatible with Windows 7, 2000, XP and Vista operating systems but is not Mac-compatible.
